Have you seen that little SkypeCasts badge on the right side of the blog. I spoke about it in this week's podcast but figured I should post as well. Skype launched earlier this week something called SkypeCasts. What SkypeCasts allows is for 100 people to join a sort of online conference call. I thought it'd be neat to test this in a real world setting so I'm going to host a SkypeCast at 6:30am EST on May 10th. I'm going to begin recording my weekly podcast, the midweek update, and then at 6:30am people can join into the SkypeCast and be integrate into the podcast. It'll kind of be like a call in show. And it'll let us test this technology and see how well it works. The SkypeCast will run for about 10-15 minutes, then I'll end it and complete my regularily scheduled podcast.
So if you're up at 6:30am EST, have Skype and want to be a part of a live podcast experiment, do join me. I'd love to talk with some of my listeners.
